I, Funmi Popoola started music career from childhood, I was born and brought up in Sango/Alakuko.
“Eku Ise” is a song I got when I was at work, at midnight precisely. A lot of people at the house I was working were with one disease, sickness or the other.
Then I pondered on how merciful God has been despite all my unrighteousness in the past and even at present…
I had a rethink and saw how privileged I am to be a whole, I saw the grace and the mercy of God in my life, I came to a conclusion that if not for God, where would I be? “Eku Ise Agbanilagbatan Aye Mi”.
